Non-Degree Programs
As part of IUJ’s academic mission, we offer a variety of short programs to non-degree seeking students and established professionals in advanced training programs.
Under the JENESYS program (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths), IUJ offers a 6-month non-degree program to students of other universities in targeted countries. This program is designed to prepare the next generation of leaders in environmental policy and management by providing them with a conceptual framework and practical skills. In-class and field trip research on environmental issues enables participants to become skilled leaders in environmental policy making and project management. Participants are provided with generous scholarship support by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).
IUJ, linking with our Indonesian partner, BAPPENAS, offers 3-week programs designed for the "Training-of-Trainers" with the specific objective of developing the professional capacity of the participants in "best practices" by introducing and exposing them to various aspects of the Japanese economy.
Linking with Mizuho Corporate Bank, IUJ offers a 1-week program to young professionals from Mizuho. Current IUJ degree students join several sessions to encourage lively and internationally-minded discussions with the Mizuho employees.
IUJ seeks partner with other businesses, governments and universities for customized short term training, continuing education and knowledge sharing programs. Contact us for how IUJ might collaborate with your organization. |
